Abstract

The article identifies the trends in the development of innovative activities of industrial enterprises of the Russian Federation, which consist in the low level of production of technological products, the negative balance of payments for technology, a decrease in the coefficient of inventive activity and active patents, while enterprises operate mainly in the primary sector of industry. It was determined that the funds of the entrepreneurial sector in the financing of science constitute a small share compared to the countries with leading positions in the Global Innovation Index. Negative dynamics of such indicators of economic profile of the Russian Federation as: institutional infrastructure and legislative framework in the economy, as well as low investment activity of the entrepreneurial sector indicates that innovation is not a priority for growth of industrial enterprises. It is determined that the maximum number of dispositions of the exclusive right to inventions, utility models, industrial designs refers to such areas as energy and electrical engineering, medicine, chemistry and petro chemistry, which indicates the accumulation of innovation potential in these industries. In this regard, it is advisable to develop an effective mechanism of interaction between industrial enterprises and the subjects of the innovation infrastructure.
