Industrial development of the Donetsk People's Republic in the context of scientific and technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation

Abstract

Innovative economic growth based on the modernization of industrial production is a generally recognized factor of progressive social and economic development of states and a global trend in the development of the world economic system. In the context of technological sovereignty challenges, the adaptation to modern requirements of technological support for the transformation of regional industrial production in accordance with the industrial policy pursued by the state is of particular importance in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), as well as in other regions of Russia. The study analyzes the features of industrial development in the context of the concept of technological sovereignty and innovation, and substantiates the organization of regional innovation activities, taking into account the impact of the imperatives of industrial development.
