Abstract

International transport corridors, such as the "Northern Sea Route" and "North-South", play a key role in ensuring the competitiveness and economic growth of the Russian Federation, especially in the context  of  globalization  and   reorientation  of trade to the Asian market. The article develops a methodology for assessing their economic potential, including the systematization and classification of development barriers into infrastructural, operational and digital, as well as a scientific approach to the analysis of dynamics, cost structure and cargo turnover volume, modeling of forecast models by various methods. The presented structural and logical schemes allow identifying key advantages, opportunities and risks associated with the development of these corridors. The study emphasizes the importance of transport logistics for strengthening Russia's position on the world stage, as well as for improving the quality of life and economic well-being of the regions. The proposed methodology can be used for further testing on the example of international transport corridors "North-South" and "Northern Sea Route".
