Conceptual framework of researching the problems of investment and innovative development of the high-tech industry economy

Abstract

The article critically comprehends and substantiates the definition of investment and innovative development of the economy of the high-tech branch, linked to the confirmed working hypothesis of the study and its goal-setting. The components of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the study of the problems of investment activities and implementation of innovation policy in relation to economic processes in the high-tech industries are systematized. Indicative support of methods for determining priorities for technological renewal of domestic branches in managing their investment and innovative development is proposed. The author's concept reflects the categories and definitions of the study, the comprehensive nature of approaches to accounting for the risks of investment activities and implementation of innovation policy in the economy of the high-tech branch, scientific and methodological provisions for identifying the needs of the industry, principles of priority of areas of investment and innovative development of the economy, as well as tools for accelerating the technological modernization of the branch. Prospects for further discussion on the possibility of conducting an analysis and integral assessment of the efficiency of the functioning of the economy of a specific high-tech industry sector of the Russian Federation are outlined.
