On the prospects of legal regulation of ensuring economic security of the Donetsk People’s Republic

Abstract

The article considers the issue of legal regulation of economic security at the regional level, which seems to be especially important and relevant in the current conditions of economic development of the state. This is due to the fact that the development of the economic potential of the regions is impossible without a system of regional regulatory and legal support for economic security. Economic security is considered as a system that includes in its structure an organizational and regulatory framework, which is a set of regulatory and legal acts that legislatively enshrine the relations of an individual, society and the state that develop in the economic sphere. The regulatory and legal support for the economic security of the state is considered. The basic federal constitutional and federal laws that constitute the regulatory and legal support for the economic security of the state are highlighted. They legislatively enshrine that in their activities to ensure economic security, the state authorities of the DPR can carry out legal regulation of security based on forecasting, identifying, analyzing and assessing threats to the economic security of the region, taking into account the main directions of state policy. Also, regions can carry out strategic planning of economic security, organize scientific research in this area. The system-forming documents that should accumulate the main provisions of the economic security of the DPR, taking into account the peculiarities of its economic development, are the Strategy of Economic Security and the Law on Economic Security, which must be developed and adopted by the state authorities of the DPR.
