Improving the economic efficiency of business processes of industrial enterprises in the region

The article examines the business processes of industrial enterprises as a set of interrelated actions aimed at creating products to solve the problems of the region's economy. The review of scientific publications by domestic and foreign researchers examines works in such areas as the role and relevance of business process interaction, the introduction of technological innovations, improving the management of production organization, and the use of business process management tools for enterprises.
The use of economic and statistical analysis, expert assessment and graphical modeling methods to study the level of costs for innovative activities of organizations in the Russian Federation made it possible to analyze changes in these costs.
During the scientific discussion, the main features, types, properties and parameters of business processes were formulated, a model of the business process and its main components was made, diagrammatic modeling tools were grouped, a variety of software tools was noted and the role of digital technologies was shown, a functional model of the economic development of the region was presented.
As a result of the research, recommendations aimed at improving the economic efficiency of business processes were prepared, scientific novelty in the development of the category "business processes" and "assessment of the economic efficiency of business processes of industrial enterprises" was investigated and formulated. The findings indicate the need to increase the economic efficiency of the industry in the Donetsk region on the basis of improving business processes.
